Poorboy's World Bold 'n Bright Tire Gel Product Reviews

I have always been a HUGE fan of PoorBoy's product. This falls nothing short of what I expected. Upon application with my DI 2" foam brush it sits at an even coat with that "new tire" shine. It lasts me about 2-4 weeks with regular washes and I think it gets better over time because it leaves the tire hydrated without a high shine. The best part is the no-sling so I can keep my paint clean, easily.

I reviewed the liquid version of this stuff, but failed to review the gel version. I'm the kind of guy that thinks having really bold but not obnoxiously shiny tires give the cleanest appearance. I used to love the silicon-based sprays and foams but after a while, the biggest pain was that the tires became a magnet for dirt; so each wash consisted of using an all-purpose cleaner on the tires before applying the foam/spray again. And they were FILTHY every time! So I decided to give this stuff a shot.

The cocoanut scent almost sold me from the beginning (smells like summer!), but of course, I needed to try it out and see what would happen. Application was simple, the stuff spreads very easily and its easy to see if you missed any spots (naturally). I think the directions say to reapply if need be, I've never had to apply a second coat with this stuff. It gives such a bold new look. The tires stand out perfectly and compliments a freshly polished car the way they should!

The moment that sold me, however, occurred while I was cleaning my windows: I accidentally brushed my leg against my tire while reaching across the car and expected to see a smear of dirt and grease (silicon) on my leg. To my surprise, there was nothing! Being water-based, this stuff actually dries to the touch, but you wouldn't even know! A++ I love this stuff!!

Great for tires doesn't leave that shiny plastic look to the sidewall water based has a nice sheen that works into a more natural look. Also works well in the engine compartment on any rubber or plastic especially Black. Won't find this on the shelves of your good'ol Wal-Mart that's a shame this stuff should sell easily by word of mouth.

I thought I'd try this product-it's good! I've always looked for a tire treatment that gives the tires a great, "finished" look. This product fits the bill.
