CarPro Eraser Intensive Oil and Polish Cleaner Reviews

CarPro eraser is a great product that quickly strips any waxes, oils and light protectants from your car with ease. I have used panel wipe and eraser, candidly I prefer Eraser as my final prep spray prior to applying a Gtechniq coating. I find that Eraser doesn't leave occasional streaking like panel wipe can when used straight. Overall Eraser is a great product and one bottle will last you quite some time because you are only using this as prep prior to a robust coating.

Been using this product for several years now. If you've clean it or polished it, this product makes your painted/plastic surfaces ready for what ever protection product.

CarPro Eraser is the best at removing residue from polishing! Also about the best window cleaner I have used yet!

I have only used an IPA mixture before. This is a great alternative that cleans and flashes very effectively.

This stuff is great! Outside its intended purpose, use it to clean your windows. You won't be disappointed.

Good product. Unfortunately, mine arrived damaged. The top was cracked and the box was soaked. Much of the product was lost during shipment.

I do not like CarPro sprayer nozzles.

Very impressed. Really cleans and brightens the surface before applying the final protective coat. Super easy to use, has a nice scent. Also took off residue off the edge of the ppf that was quite stubborn to remove.

A must buy product IMO.

Works great at removing polishing oils built up wax and sealants, I use it to prep the paint for any protection application. Works as a fantastic glass cleaner as well if you have unprotected glass. A little expensive though

Excellent product and requires no buffing off as it leaves no residue of its own behind! It is worth noting that the picture is deceiving as the trigger is not included.

Eraser is an excellent product. It does what it says it will do, also is by far the best product I have found to clean glass.

I don't normally touch my Jet Black car but when I do, I use eraser as a quick detailer to get fingerprints, bugs and sap off my car in the pinch. Does the job with no streaks.

Compared this to my own IPA mix and this faired slightly better. Might not be worth it for someone on a budget but proper prep goes a long way if you want to get the most out of your ceramic coating.

When paint correction is needed my finished washing regiment ends with CarPro eraser.

This product works great as a last step in the decontamination process to remove any oils or "hidden" imperfections. Application and removal are very easy and I would highly recommend this product.

I have written a previous review, and was torn between Eraser or just diluted alcohol. Alcohol wins the price was easily, but I've concluded that Eraser is the superior product. Pros: lubricity, fairly concentrated so a little seems to go a long way, and seems less harsh than alcohol, especially in smell. Cons: price. I've decided the pros outweigh the price and this is my go-to product.

Does a great job as final prep and simpler than diluting IPA and keeping an extra bottle around. Will absolutely keep using this in the future.

This product works great. Great prep for Ceramic Coatings and before sealer. Plus smells a lot better than other paint prep.

Eraser is a great pre cleaner for body panels whether you are going to paint, apply wax or sealant, ceramic coat, top coat etc.. It even cleans windows streak free. We use it daily for multiple jobs.

Great product for removing polishing oils prior to applying a ceramic coating. I use it prior to applying a wax or sealant as well after polishing. It has better lubricity than using IPA to prep paint. Eraser also smells good.

Simply put, it works... Leaves a clean, oil free surface for the coating or sealer to be applied. Very easy to apply, just spray on wipe off and a second light wipe with a clean microfiber and done.

This stuff is great. A little goes a long way. One of my favorite products.

Will never go back to a ipa mixture for paint cleansing. Smells good, no streaks, removes polish residue easily.

I was skeptical at first, but now I am converted to Eraser as a panel wipe and inspection spray prior to LSP application.

Lives up to its claims. In the shade while cool it worked brilliantly. In direct sun or on a hot car I would recommend spraying on to a microfiber then using another to remove/buff.

Great product to remove oily residue after polishing and prep the surface nicely for LSP.

I used to use IPA and yes, IPA is much much cheaper, but the problem with IPA is, there is no lubricant to glide surface smoothly and carpro eraser ensure that I am extra safe when Im wiping down customers car for inspection.

also it does not take much to wipe the surface so bottle of 32oz will last pretty long for most people.

Use Eraser after compounding and gloss enhancer and what a difference. Would recommend this to all car crazy individual.

Worked great to remove and residual polish before the LSP. Expensive compared to IPA but I think it works better.

After doing a citrus and a degreaser wash on my vehicle to prep the vehicle for paint correction, I applied this product to remove the last contaminates on the paint. This product removed those stubborn spots either you missed or your wash mitt missed. It was great I noticed instantly the cutting on my paint had happened. It was great not having to cut through wax left over of by grime.

Eraser works well and I enjoy using it. The scent is amazing and it is wipe on/wipe off type product. I recently coating my glass shower doors and used Windex followed by CarPro Eraser before doing the CQUK coating. Using this product will make the coating last longer for sure. Will continue using this product before every coating job.

I use the CarPro Eraser to prep for CQUK as recommended by CarPro. Works excellent and allows for easy application of the coating. Some use IPA but to me Eraser is the way to go when using CarPro products!

Works well, but is it really better than IPA? I don't know. With IPA, the cost is so miniscule that it is easy to use a lot and not worry about it. I did 2 applications of Eraser to prep for CQUK and it went through quite a bit of the bottle. The paint does feel stripped, but I'm not sure it is worth the extra cost.

A bit pricey but it delivers everything it's supposed to. So far I used it to prep two vehicles for Cquartz UK application and it worked flawlessly. Easy on, easy off.

Eraser worked perfectly on my Audi A5. I used it to prep the paint for the CarPro Cquartz UK edition. It was simple to use and did an excellent job.

Great polish remover. Does exactly what you want it to do. Coverage is nice with the sprayer it comes with, but mentioned before, give it a good squeeze otherwise you'll get droplets instead of mist. Great product though!

This is great for after polishing or before sealant, or some type of gloss polish. It is easy and doesn't take time to wipe off and prepare the surface and it leaves a nice, clean, tacky surface, perfect for putting on wax or sealant.

This product is a real time-saver. Works great and creates a clean tacky surface for application of your favorite wax or sealant. Much quicker than applying a similar product via DA (like CGs Vertua Bond or Extreme EZ-Creme Glaze). Little goes a long ways. Will definitely buy again when my current supply runs out.

Works great and is easier than trying to dilute IPA. It's also safer IMO. It definitely removes any leftover polish/compound residue. Pull the trigger hard for a decent spray, I got sort of heavy droplets if you gave it a half squeeze or pulled it too slow. You can feel how bare the surface is after wiping it off. A very nice step if you really want to have full view of the paints condition and a clean surface for your LSP to bond to.
Only con: IPA is darn cheap in comparison.
