Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour will allow you to protect your rims with ease! C5 utilizes a unique chemical bond to form a coating over your rims, resulting in easier maintenance. This means that your wheels will repel dirt and brake dust like never before. One single application lasts up to one year and C5 is resistant to temperatures up to 570 degrees F. If that's not enough, C5 provides excellent stain and contaminant resistance properties! Use this Wheel Armour on regular painted rims, chrome, clear coated aluminum, and stainless steel items including wheels, bumpers, and engine parts. - Do not dilute
- Apply at a temperature above 40 degrees F and not in direct sunlight
- If you are applying indoors ensure that there is adequate ventilation and wear protective gloves
- Ensure that the surface to be coated is entirely free from fats/oils or previously applied products. GTechniq PW Panel Wipe is recommended for this purpose
- Use the lint free application pads supplied to spread the coating onto the trim
- Because the coating forms its bond immediately it is very important you remove excess coating from the treated surface within 5 minutes of application
- To remove residue we recommend a clean microfiber towel
- Allow coating to cure for 12 hours

Directions
1. Perfect
Fully decontaminate the rims and ensure they are completely dry prior to application. The wheels you are going to coat will need to be indoors and should not be exposed to the elements for 12 hours after application.
2. Degrease
Use Gtechniq Panel Wipe and an MF1 microfibre cloth to remove all residues. Chemically bonding C5 will adhere best to surgically clean surfaces.
3. Apply
Soak the applicator pad with several drops of the product. Spread onto no more than half a wheel and remove residue within 30 - 60 seconds with an MF1 microfibre cloth.

New 2025 F150 Lariat. Wheels with no obvious soiling. Washed with Gwash, added W6 Iron Removing Wheel & Paint Cleaner, rinsed with pressure washer, dried with leaf blower and wiped with a MF1 towel (added insurance). After 30 minutes (I ate lunch), W6 Iron Removing Wheel & Paint Cleaner was applied and wiped twice. I had trepidation with the instructions of wiping the residue within 30-60 seconds. Applying C5 was extremely fast and easy, quickly abating my timeframe concerns.
The applicator pads: The pads are multilayered with nothing firmly keeping them attached to one another. This was evident when removing the first and a layer from the second one was attached. Both sides have a different texture, leading me to ponder the reason. There is no explanation included in the packaging. I too, as others have mentioned, found the pads to wear out rather quickly. However, this may be operator error. I would recommend purchasing extras, as one fell on the floor during package removal.
The wheels look brighter and shine better than when I drove away from the dealership.

This product is amazing. Used it on 18 inch wheels that have a big brake kit. This product makes it extremely easy to clean in those tight spaces without too much effort. I suggest purchasing additional application pads when purchasing product.
Great product easy to use. Only critique would be that it needs to come with a few more small pads for application as they wear out quickly.
