Product Description
Gtechniq GT1 makes applying a ceramic coating easier than ever, delivering long lasting protection with user friendly application process. Whether you are applying your first coating or simply want a faster way to protect your vehicle, GT1 offers excellent results without the complexity of some traditional ceramic coatings. You apply just one layer of it and it can be used across multiple exterior surfaces. It can even be applied indoors or outdoors, while still delivering the performance people expect from Gtechniq. The advanced formula bonds directly to the surface to create a durable layer that repels water, releases dirt more readily, and helps minimize the appearance of light wash induced swirl marks for up to one year. One of GT1's biggest advantages is its versatility. As mentioned above, it can be used on a variety of surfaces, including your paint, paint protection film (PPF), exterior trim, wheels, and side or rear glass. You can apply outside, in the sun, etc. allowing you to protect almost all exterior surfaces, safely, easily and with one simple kit. Easy Application Instructions
- Thoroughly wash and decontaminate the vehicle to remove dirt, embedded contaminants, and old protection. Dry the entire vehicle completely before coating.
- Put on the included gloves. Spray Panel Wipe onto the included microfiber towel and wipe down every panel to remove any remaining oils or residue.
- Prime the included applicator with GT1 and apply a thin, even coat using overlapping passes. Work one panel at a time, starting at the top of the vehicle and working downward.
- Wait until the coating begins to flash (typically 30-60 seconds depending on temperature and humidity).
- Remove the residue with a clean microfiber towel, then follow with a second towel to achieve a crystal clear, streak free finish.
- Repeat the process on each panel, then coat the glass (excluding the windshield), trim, and wheels.
- Keep the vehicle dry and avoid washing it for 7 days to allow the coating to fully cure and achieve maximum durability.
Note: In the swept area of a windshield, durability is reduced to several months due to abrasion from the wipers.
