Product Description
The Griot's Garage BOSS Fanned Orbital Backing Plate was designed exclusively for the new Griot's Garage Long Throw Orbital Polishers! These backing plates are made out of German Urethane, which helps deliver supreme panel contouring and exceptional durability. They attach to your Griot's Garage Long Thow unit with ease and the hook and loop face allow for balanced pad attachment and heat management. Speaking of heat management, the horizontal and vertical vents expel heat from the assembly, pushing it out and away from the polisher and pad. This prolongs the life of not only your pads but keeps the unit operating at a lower heat level for longer life and better overall polishing results. Even with all of these cool features, Griot's innovated again. They incorporated three weight-optimizing 5mm fasteners, which help you fine-tune backing plate weight with counterbalance and selected buffing pads.
