Gyeon One Evo takes everything you love about the Gyeon One and improves on it! Gyeon One Evo is an easy to apply coating that will help protect your paint, while providing a great deal of gloss. In general, coatings do take a little more effort to apply than a wax and that can be intimidating to some detailing enthusiasts. Gyeon however, really went out of their way to come up with an easy to use formula, that is great for enthusiasts who want more protection and ease of application. According to Gyeon, One is as easy to apply as a traditional wax, provides a great level of gloss, yet is as durable and resistant as a regular coating. You can expect to use about 25ml - 30ml per vehicle and One Evo will last an estimated 24 months with proper care.Gyeon coatings have been completely redesigned and this technology has never used before in car coatings. Evo products utilize a world-first use of the fluoro-modified polisylazane technology that pushes the Evo line to the forefront of car coatings. Great product, laid down nicely, impressed with the results. First time using this product, second time coating a car. I'll be staying in the Gyeon product line for coatings now.
I have used Gyeon One to coat multiple vehicles now. It is great to install and easy to remove during the process. It offers great gloss and the water beading is fantastic. Use it on my daily driver and hit it with Gyeon Wet Coat every 4th wash. This is my go to coating for clients.
Tried Gyeon One on our 2014 CRV in Basque Red Pearl daily driver. Vehicle is garaged 50/50 and got a decon/clay, one step with 3D one and LC White pad to remove light swirls, panel wipe with Gyeon Prep. Used 3/4 of the 30ml bottle on two coats (for even coverage) 1 hour apart for entire vehicle. Experimented with applying to all exterior surfaces EXCEPT glass (body cladding, cowl area, chrome trim). Product went on smoothly, waited 2-3 mins and wiped clean easily. Used one MF for initial wipe and another for final wipe. Only found 2-3 spots in sunlight after finishing full coat that wiped off cleanly. Paint was a deep candy gloss and plastic trim was darker and more even toned. Car sat in garage for 5 days to cure before being driven to an appointment in the rain. Once back and inclement weather passed, water spotting was the worst I have ever seen. Surface of the car felt tacky, and water spots smeared when rubbed. Unsure if this was road film, odd rain fallout or coating based. Not sure exactly what this phenomenon was, but washed car on day 8 after application, and applied some SB3 Maintain booster. All spots are gone and paint is smooth and glistening. Interested to see durability on the exterior surfaces over the coming hot summer.
Overall a very smooth experience in application and removal. Gloss results speak for themselves - this paint POPS now! The trim is deep and water just beads off all surfaces as fast as it can. Time will tell on the durability of the coating and if the water spot issue reappears (which would be a shame, I have not had other coatings show spotting this bad).
