As someone who is always looking for efficient and effective gear to make detailing faster and more enjoyable, I was recently sent a IK e Foam Pro 2 test unit from the great people at IK and I have to say, I am extremely fond of it.
The e Foam Pro 2 is a compact, battery powered foam sprayer, but do not let the size fool you, this thing performs like a champ across a variety of setups.

Class A Detailing
I watched a LOT of YouTube videos on the pros and cons of the IKe Foam Pro 2. Most concluded that, even though a bit pricey, this is the best on the market. So, I bought one. It worked flawlessly out of the box. However, the instruction manual was very inadequate when it came to explaining the various nozzles and their specific characteristics. (Again, YouTube filled in the blanks.) Before you get started, go buy a gallon of distilled water! It's the easiest and cheapest way to get top performance and extend the life of the device. The second thing to know is that you must use a FULL container (50oz) in order to cover an average size car. I did not find the compressor motor to be overly loud. I changed the grey nozzle to the green for dryer foam. The foam was very easily and evenly distributed, with no effort at all. I highly recommend the IKe Foam Pro 2.
Have used this 3 times since purchase and each time the car was clean after use. When you don't have the time to pull out your pressure washer this is a great alternate and beats a wash bucket. The compressor is noisy but it maintains adequate pressure to ensure a good soapy coverage. Will purchase again when this one no longer works.
