The DI Microfiber Double Thick Edgeless Towel utilizes thick long microfiber strands to give you a great all around detailing towel. This towel is a mix between our popular reTHICKulous Towel and Zero Edge Towel. The longer microfiber threads allow this towel to lift and collect particles for safe and easy cleanings. Modern day towels have paint safe trim on the edge, however this trim generally does not help collect contamination on the surface. By removing the trim, you create a towel that is completely dedicated to cleaning. The edge of the towel is so often the first thing to touch the surface you are cleaning so it makes sense to have it made of microfiber that actually cleans instead of other materials that don't aid in the cleaning process. Love these towels. About 8 or 9 years ago I ordered a dozen, and they were the centerpiece of my paint-only towels. Late last year I began to have issues with micro lint that eventually contaminated most of my towels. Super frustrating. I wasn't able to improve the problem. I noticed the edges were beginning to fray and determined that these towels, with their high mileage and long service, were the likely source. I was fine ordering another dozen recently during one of many sales. I think I got my money out of the original dozen, which will now be sent on "kamikaze missions" like engine detailing or door jams. For what they cost I can't complain about 8 or 9 years of good service. Half the price of TRC equivalent and side-be-side I struggle to tell the difference.
Great for the insurance quote during coating applications and for wipe off of waxes and sealants.
These are nice towel and lint free.
