Product Description

The 4" Lake Country Black Finishing Pad can be used to apply a finishing polish, all in one polish, paintwork cleaner, or a glaze. The Black Finishing Pad will not remove deep imperfections, but it does work well on light surface imperfections or for burnishing your paint to a higher level of depth and gloss. This pad is also soft enough to apply a sealant or liquid wax, however we recommend the slightly softer Blue Fine Finishing Pad for sealant & wax applications.

Benefits of Smaller Pads:

On a random orbital buffer, such as the Porter Cable 7424:

• Provides more bite than larger pads, in order to break polishes down further and remove more imperfections
• Ability to maneuver the buffer in tigher areas and closer to edges and trim
• Increased control with the buffer

On a rotary buffer, such as the Metabo PE 12-175:

• Provides less bite than larger pads, which makes using a rotary buffer less risky
• Easier to finish down the paint without rotary holograms, micro-marring, and other imperfections
• Ability to maneuver the buffer in tigher areas and closer to edges and trim
• Increased control with the buffer
