Sprayed this on first thing, then let sit while I washed my car. All it took was a gentle wipe from the sponges and brush and everything came off! I am used to putting since muscle into it, and taking a good 20 min. Not so anymore, This stuff is amazing!

Easy to use. Spray onto wheel, let sit, wash, then rinse. Great value for the money.

This is a great product at a great price. I recently used it on some wheels that had a lot of brake dust and dirt/grime. I removed the wheel; sprayed down the inner barrell and outside; let it set for about 5 minutes that hit the inner barrel with a soft brush. Thats all it needed to look as if it were brand new. When I run out I am definitely getting a big jug of this stuff!!

Fantastic product. I was running low and ordered a larger refill. Very easy and safe to use and wheels look shiny!

P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner is one of the best products sold on Detailed Image. I used it once, and then ordered the larger refill size. I spray on one wheel, and let it dwell while I spray it on the next. Then I go back and scrub the first with a soft bristle wheel brush, and then move on the to the second. It takes minimal scrubbing, but you will use a fair bit of the product with my method. I don't clean the wheels at all first. If they are very dirty I will have to rewash a few spots I missed in all the dirt and suds. I give the P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner my highest recommendation.

This works pretty good. i use this when the wheels aren't too bad. if they are i grab for the sonax. i'm going to try it again when i swap to winter wheels and can let them sit longer.

I had a potential customer with a Z4 and powder-coated rims and I wanted to make sure I wouldn't ruin them with any other strong acidic wheel cleaner. I ended up not doing the Z4 (yet), but I did try it out on a Volvo with some really dirty, caked up rims. I believe I wet the rims at first to remove any loose dirt, let it run off, then sprayed just enough of this gel at the top of each rim so it would run down. I let it sit for probably 5 minutes (out of impatience), and used the included sponge to work it in. To my surprise, the dirt was wiping off like it was nothing! No aggressive cleaning needed, the dirt nearly fell off. After a final rinse, I was amazed at how little effort it takes for this stuff to work! It's worth the price because you don't have to worry about damaging the protection either. Great product!

I really like this stuff and think it does a great job. I recently took the wheels off my Lexus RX 330 so that I could get access to the inner barrels. The grime and brake dust was really baked on, since I had NEVER done the inner barrels (it's a 2004, so you can imagine what they were like). Anyway, I used the P21S Gel, but let it soak for about 20 minutes before scrubbing the barrels with a Blue Scotchbrite sponge. The wheels look much improved, although I think I would try Sonax Wheel Cleaner Full Effect the next time I come across really dirty wheels.

This stuff is OK. It's not a miracle but it works. I was however surprised that the bottle did not last too long. It lasted less than two full washes and my wheels were not too dirty.

Not that great on painted rims.

I accumulate alot of front brake dust on my wheels every week, and the dust is a pita to remove, even with sealant applied every month. I even sprayed almost half a bottle on all 4 wheels, let it sit for 2 hours, then scrubbed them, and rinsed. It had the same effect Mothers All wheel cleaner did in 30 seconds, with 1/3 the price. Don't get me wrong, it did remove about 80%, but not worth the time or money.

This review was only for custom painted wheels, I guess it's better for metal surfaces.

Worked as described. Not an amazing cleaning outcome, as the wheels are brand new(little to clean, but it cleaned them), so I this product is keeping them looking new :D

I submitted a favorable review over a year ago and I just wanted to repeat what a great product it is. The wheels of our '04 BMW had never been cleaned when we purchased it in 2007. The first use of P21s was quite impressive (and a lot of work getting through 3 1/2 years of dirt and brake dust!). Regular use just makes the cleaning process get easier each time. Great product!

I wouldn't rave about this product but it is a decent wheel cleaner that is safe for all wheels. The key is to let it sit for awhile and just give it plenty of time to work.

Fairly successful on my chrome plated wheels. I'm the second owner, and it looks like the previous owner NEVER washed the car. perhaps I needed to let it sit longer or scrub harder, but I couldn't get the brake dust off the rim. On the face, the most visible part, P21S was great!

This stuff is something else! I read the review and didn't believe that something could really be THAT good. wow. talk about an amazing product. my wife couldn't believe how clean the wheels where when she saw the car. P21S in conjunction with the ez detail brushes are unstoppable.

my only 'complaint' would be that i should have follow the 'little dab will do ya' philosophy. i need to just spray a bit lighter next time i use it. Not the problem of the product, just the user.

this stuff is great on wheels for removing brake dust and other gunk!

unfortunately it is also great at eating clearcoat! after using this product just once, it ate the finish off of my red brakes, wash mitt was stained red and all. i have an aftermarket big brake kit of a very reputable brand. buyer beware!

Absolutely amazing product. Broke down and spent the money to try it. This will be one that I will have a constant supply of! My number wheel cleaner from now on!

Takes the guess work out of wheel cleaning because it's safe for all surfaces--also makes cleaning most wheels/tires a cake walk.

I have used other cleaners but this is the best. It clings to the wheels and doesn't run off. Using only about 5 squirts per wheel is plenty it clean the wheels to perfection. It seems to keep the wheels cleaner between washes and with repeated use the wheels are easier to clean. The 5 litre size lasted me over 2 years washing 5 vehicles.

One word: DYNAMITE

This is a must-have whether you're a professional or just like to keep your car(and wheels) clean.

Just be careful not to overuse it! Only need a few sprays around the wheel, agitate with one of the EZ-Detail brushes, and you'll have plenty of suds.

Excellent product, but ended up using too much of it. Only did two cars and bottle is half empty already.

P21S gel is the way to go.This is the only wheel cleaner I use on everyones vehicle because it is safe and it works great.All decent detailing products are more expensive than what people are used to but it goes back to " You get what you pay for . If you haven't tried it, then you must, if you do use it, then you know what I'm talking about.

I've always heard good things about P21S wheel gel and finally decided to give it a shot. Wow, it surpassed my expectations. I was a bit concerned before using because it doesn't seem to really be a gel - but it clung to the wheel and ate through my BMW's brake dust. I ordered the larger refill the next week, it's that good.

This stuff works great. I have used all the other "big brand" wheel cleaners in retail and nothing is as safe and effective as P21s. It may be a little pricey, but you wont get angry when cleaning dirty wheels again.

This stuff is great. I've read about it on different forums and seen the before and afters. It is everything it was promised to be. My next purchase is the large size. I foresee using this product quite a bit. This is a must have in my detailing aresenal.

I absolutely love this product. I have found nothing better to remove brake dust and clean my rims. I strongly recommend to all my friends. You can see it working once you spray on and the dust melt off.

EXCELLENT! Works superbly well as described by everyone. Wheels look super clean. Followed up with Poor Boy's World Wheel Sealant (2 coats) and my BMW wheels just look amazing. Don't hesitate to try this product, but follow up with a wheel sealant so that P21s is not required everytime (becuase it's somewhat expensive)

used this stuff on my gfs mazda 3 that hasnt been properly washed in ages and had so much brake dust and all sorts of grime on the wheels that wouldnt come off with anything. used this waited 5-10 minutes wheels came out looking as clean as they did when received from the factory. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Only use it once every 4-5 car washes, but it's definitely a great product. Simply just sprayed on the wheels, then let sit for 5 minutes. Used a detail brush and sponge and wheels come out flawless.

Really like this product, takes the crime off really well. For the price I wish there was more product in the bottle.

Simply put: this is *still* the best wheel cleaner on the market in my opinion. How can something that works so well and so strong still be so safe for the most sensitive wheels? P21S has figured it out. Highly recommended.

The cleaning power of P21S is really something. Considering the amount of brake dust on the wheels after a summer of driving, this stuff cuts through it and removes it easily. It's definitely worthwhile to use on your wheels.

Great wheel cleanser. For the price, I don't use it all the time, but when a normal wash isn't getting all the brake dust off, I pull this off the shelf and it eats it away. I love that it's safe for all wheels too, no worries about acid. I let it dwell and then gave it a spray to watch it foam up. Quick agitation and it wipes all the dirt away clean.

So I got a chance to use this on aluminum wheels which hasn't been cleaned for almost a month. Pretty much the wheels were brown caked on from the brakes. I had to get this product from reading reviews. I sprayed it on let sit about 5-10 minutes man those wheels looked brand new again and having peace knowing that it will not damage the wheels either is a big A++. It's better to pay for this product than having to pay for somes rim that's been damaged.

I used on my two vehicles (Tacoma & 330i) that see decently frequent washing. I even occassionally try tried clean the barrels of the truck wheels when I would rotate the tires, but there was still plenty of build-up since the last wash and much longer since trying to clean the barrels.

With each vehicle, I sprayed on all wheels and let sit for about 15 minutes before starting on the first wheel. Using the supplied sponge and E-Z Mini Detail Brush, the wheels shined like new. The calipers actually looked metal again instead of "brake-dust black". I probably could have let it soak for longer to get the inside barrels perfectly clean, but they are probably 95% clean which is tons better than they were.

The only drawback is that I probably used half the bottle or a bit more on 2 vehicles, but I'm not toooo worried since I don't foresee needing to use this all the time.

It's an excellent product that cleans well, especially for neglected wheels, such as when I used to only clean the outer face of the wheels. This with the Mini detail brush are an awesome combo.

This is one of the best wheel cleaners I have ever used that is still safe to use! Not surprsing being from P21S.

This stuff is expensive, but it works like people have written. The grime just flows off. Spray it on, let it dwell for a few minutes, rinse off. Perhaps a little agitation for really stubborn areas, but this stuff works better than anything I've ever tried.

This is the product to use. Pretty expensive and I won't use it at every wash but whenever I do a detail this is a much have product. I may try and dilute it a bit to see if I can stretch it a little. If dilution works I will use it every time I wash.

Great stuff, i bought this when i picked up my new BMW, after 3 days of ownership already the wheels were filthy, sprayed this on let it sit for a few minutes washed it off and lightly scrubbed with a sponge, and absolutely no problems, and the wheels were definately shinier then when i picked up the car!

Great stuff. I'd tried several sprays before that had an almost caustic edge to them. This stuff appears gentle, which I prefer around the kids, dogs and of course the wheels! Works great and will be the only cleaner I buy from now on!

Wow! I sprayed this on and just used a MF glove to wipe off the brake dust and this stuff will get off even the infamously stubborn BMW brake dust! I just ordered a large bottle for refilling.

I was blown away after letting this on my tires for about 20 mins. I rinsed the wheels and tires off and just saw the dirt and grim run right off.

I only let it sit for 15-20 mins and when i washed it off, the brake dust just melted, its an amazing sight to see! very safe on wheels too!

What else can I say...this product is the Gold Standard...do not buy anything else...only P21S gel for me

is there any other product to use on anodized lips? only wheel cleaner for my Volks...this stuff is great! gentle, but strong. bought a 2003 Passat wagon and got some new wheels. old wheels had never been cleaned behind the spokes or inner barrel. easily a 1/4 inch of brake dust and road crud had built up. sprayed these with P21S Gel and let sit for about 5 minutes. the gunk was literally melting off the inside/backside of the wheels. little agitation from a soft brush, washed and they looked almost new for 6 year old wheels. nice enough that instead of junking them I was able to sell them. highly recommended for those with German cars if you do not want to swap out your OEM brake pads to ceramics.

So far it is safe on polished and painted rims. No etching or dulling of the surface. The longer you leave it on the better it is at cleaning.

This stuff is awesome! I have polished Billet rims and have to be VERY careful what products I use on them. P21S Wheel Gel is strong enough to get them clean, but delicate enough to not haze or stain polished aluminum. This is now the only wheel cleaner in my cabinet.

This stuffs cleans anything safely and easily. good to know its not acidic and will not harm my wheels finish. All i do is spray it on. While i wash the rest of my car, this stuff penetrates the brake dust and cleans everything. It's just a little expensive.

On expensive wheels this is all I use, I've never had and issue with it. While its not the strongest (is works quickly) I would not want to risk the possible damage. I used this on a vintage Ferrari with Borranis (50,000/wheel price tage) with no worries. I like the dwell time of hours on heavy soiled wheels.

Not the strongest on the market but strong enough to SAFELY clean almost all wheels out there, no matter what the condition. Works great and can be diluted to last a while. Another good P21S product!

This stuff is great!

My wheels were pitted and stained w/ brake dust. Nothing I tried would get it off.

I sprayed the p21s on, let it sit for two hours, then almost all the dust and stains came off with a wipe of the sponge!

Unbelievable. I recommend this for anyone having troubles getting brake dust off.
