The 3D ACA 500 X-tra Cut Compound helps you remove medium to heavy imperfections faster than before! The secret to the corrective power in this compound is the Alpha Ceramic Alumina. This water-based abrasive helps provide low heat output and high-speed leveling that will correct even the most challenging clearcoats. ACA 500 is easy to use, easy to clean-up (low dusting), is sun friendly and contains no harmful solvents, kerosene or OSHA regulated crystalline silica. If you have lighter imperfections or need to perform a second polishing step, the 3D ACA 520 Finishing Polish paired with a light corrective pad is a fantastic choice. 3D ACA 500 X-tra CUT COMPOUND is infused with innovative ALPHA CERAMIC ALUMINA. This revolutionary new compound is a low heat, high speed leveling abrasive that will correct the most challenging applications. This precisely engineered compound provides truest paint correction in the shortest time. 3D ACA 500 X-TRA CUT COMPOUND can be matched perfectly with a WOOL pad. For faster performance, we recommend rotary polisher.
Directions
Sand to desired level of grit. Set buffer speed (3D preferred speed 1000-1800 RPMs). Apply enough 3D ACA X-TRA CUT COMPOUND #500 to work a 2' x 2' area using a 3D WOOL pad. Buff with slow back and forth overlapping motions until correction is complete and sanding scratches are eliminated. Remove any residue with a clean microfiber cloth.
Follow up using 3D ACA 520 FINISHING POLISH with a 3D K-58SBK Finishing foam pad.

Have only used with a coarse foam pad and am really impressed with it. I first used a forced-drive da polisher with good results. Next I went to a cordless rotary and the results got even better. Really impressed.
Works great, low dusting, long working time, finishes down nicely, goes a long way. Can use with wool or foam. We mix this with 3D 505 for a one step on steroids.
Great complement to 3D One. Cuts really well with a wool pad.
