This tool is amazing and it replaced another battery rotary polisher. I honestly don't see the need for a corded until. It maintains speed torque throughout like corded. I upgraded to stacked 6.0 and that battery last forever vs the 5.0 in the kits. Make sure upon purchase you register for the warranty with Flex. Lifetime and supposedly you get up to 3 batteries replaced in that lifetime!
