Flex Battery 18V - 5 Amp

Would definitely buy this again each battery lasts about 2 to 3 hours on a full charge and it takes less than 45 minutes to charge a battery amazing product

Bought with polisher set in 2021 for personal, single-vehicle use. Battery went dead and wouldn't take a charge in late 2024, after no more than 10 uses/charge cycles.

Reached out to Flex USA staff on Instagram and was accused of overly discharging battery. After insisting battery was charged full after each use and stored indoor under normal room temp, I was then turned into a selling target for their 24v batteries/adapter.

I understand the battery warranty has expired, but Flex USA has failed to address their quality issue (judging from other similar battery reviews) and unreliable future warranty offering (lifetime warranty for 24v line requires 30-day registration and may not be available by the time of purchase/end-of-year).

Also, I strongly believe Flex USA was aware of issues with their 18v batteries, hence the abandonment of the previous gen and the rough attempt of switching 18v customers to 24v product line.

This whole experience shows that Flex USA does not value their past/existing customers, does not stand behind their products, and will find every possible excuse/easy way out when issue arises. To all weekend warriors and pro detailer, please look into other reputable polisher brands before buying into Flex ecosystem and their now so-called lifetime warranty. I personally would AVOID them at all costs, unless you have plenty of time, money, and resources to waste.
