Product Description
The Gtechniq Ceramic Base is a coating product designed to protect your marine surface with ease! This special nanotechnology doesn't create a temporary barrier, it is a permanent coating that will allow you to protect your gel coat. This protective barrier is extremely hard and exceptionally durable against swirls, scratches, watermarks, dirt and grime buildup, and more. Don't forget about the shine as well, the gloss level is incredible! You will enjoy looking at the fresh and glossy finish for years to come. It helps protect from UV rays and it can not be removed by strong shampoos, pressure washers, etc. Over a couple of years, the coating will eventually fade or you can remove it by polishing but otherwise, it is there to stay. Before applying it you should thoroughly wash and decontaminate the surface as the coating does need a clean and bare Gelcoat surface to adhere to.Application Instructions:
- Please allow at least 12 hours after application for the Ceramic Top to fully cure.
- If applying directly to gelcoat or topcoat, polish the surface to remove any imperfections.
- Soak the application pad with product. Spread onto an area measuring no more than 2' by 2' (60 x 60cm) and remove residue with a clean microfiber towel.

Product Description
Ceramic Base forms a high gloss protective barrier which is extremely hard, exceptionally durable and provides great UV protection. This makes it very effective at preventing oxidation, mineral staining, waterline staining and black streaking, making the surface easy to clean and maintain.
Ceramic Base can be applied as a stand-alone product. For added UV protection and maximum hydrophobic performance, we recommend overcoating with Ceramic Top.

Directions
1. Perfect
If required, polish the gelcoat to remove any imperfections.
2. Degrease
Ceramic Base bonds best to surgically clean surfaces. Use Gtechniq Panel Wipe and a Gtechniq MF1 Microfibre to remove all polish residue.
3. Apply
Soak the application pad with product. Spread on to an area measuring no more than 2' by 2' (60 x 60cm) and remove residue with a Gtechniq MF1 Microfibre.

Love this stuff. Everyone now and then I get the call to come ceramic coat a new boat for a local dealership. They are very expensive ski boats. The last one I did the customer was extremely pleased with how easy it was to maintain his boat and how it stayed looking like brand new. Can't say enough good things about the marine base and top coating.
I made a little experiment with this product by using it on my ‘08 Mini and even my mountain bike after a one-step correction on each. My thought process is that if this coating holds up against the ocean, it will work strongly on a car. I am very impressed. The beading isn't quite as strong as CSL, but the depth is amazing. The most interesting quality of this marine coating is the amount of time it can sit before flashing. Something came up where the bike had the coating sit for about 45 minutes and it still came off with a little elbow grease and no polishing. Time will tell but as far as I can tell this is a great alternative to a traditional paint coating if the conditions to apply aren't ideal/flash time is an important factor. Would buy again.
