Would they buy this item again? Yes
Pros:
1. Great rotation on non-modded tools.
2. Less compound needed on reloads.
3. Great finishing.
4. More durable than the originals.
5. Clean out well, even with a brush.
Cons:
1. Fibers mat very quickly.
2. Less cut than original.
If you like the Meguiar's pads, you might really like these. But the fibers do seem to mat faster then the Meguiar's, and especially the original version. The increased durability is a plus, but if I had a choice I would have continued buying the original blue and yellow microfiber pads. The fiber pack seems a little thin. I think these pads would benefit from a heavier volume of fibers to increase cut, and resist matting.
Now that the originals are gone I might switch to their wool pads, but these pads are good enough that I'd consider buying them again.
Maybe Rupes can make the originals available, like how they make their legacy tools available alongside the Mk2, and Mk3..?
