The Griot's Garage G8 Mini Random Orbital Polisher makes removing imperfections in those hard to reach areas on your vehicle easier than ever before! This unit helps remove the need for hand polishing so you get the power of a buffer throughout your entire detail. Simply switch from using your larger buffer to this compact detailing tool for those tough to reach spaces. The Griot's Garage 3" Random Orbital Polisher was extremely popular, but the G8 takes everything we loved with the 3" and enhances it. This polisher will give you the feel and performance of a larger polisher, while allowing you to easily polish and protect bumpers, mirror housings, windshield wiper casings, door jambs, trunk jambs, spoilers, and any other area where a larger buffer just can not reach safely. This unit packs a powerful 700 watt, 6 amp motor, 8mm throw, and 2000 - 6400 orbits per minute. The new gears are 45% stronger than the previous 3" unit and the constant speed control allows this unit to not bog down. You will also notice that this power helps you remove swirls, scratches, oxidation and other imperfections with ease. Fan-cooled counter-balance and multiple vents are designed to keep overall operating heat down, which extends the life of tools, backing plates and pads while improving performance. At the bottom of the unit, you will find a quick connect where the 10ft 18 AWG SJO rubber power cord enters the handle. This allows you to quickly snap-in, or remove the cord at a moment's notice. This is great if you want to hang the unit up, swap it out for a longer cord, travel, etc. The safety clip keeps the cord in place during use, so no fears of it popping out while polishing. I use this little thing for wet sanding and it is awesome. Most of my equipment is rupes but had to give this a try
I purchased this to use on the bumpers of my vintage car. My 6 inch orbital is just too big to use with the bumpers on. However since it arrived, my car has been in the shop. Coincidence...I think not lol.
