I thought I would be ecstatic with this amazing wax, but I was wrong. The wax was easy to apply and it dried to a haze fairly quickly in about 10 minutes. It also seemed very easy to remove, but one of the cons of this product is that it stained my white Rethickulous towels. Everything seemed well until the next morning. There were streaks everywhere, which was incredibly weird since it came out clear under my LED lights the night before. I removed the streaks with some diluted ONR; however, when I came home from work that evening, the wax was still sweating and there was a LOT of cloudiness. It became even more difficult to remove since the car was sitting in the sun and hardening the wax streaks in the clear. All in all, not a great experience. Yet, I'll try it again soon and publish my results.

Used after Menzerna Power Lock sealant. This was the first hard wax I have used. I tried applying with a DA polisher and pad. The process didn't work well for me. I also tried just using my hands, but that really didn't work well either. The easiest and best application process for me was just foam pad by hand. Not sure if it was because I was applying the blue velvet over sealant, but it didn't want to give me complete coverage at times. I found that to get total coverage, I was using too much. So, I just allowed the product to flow on where it wanted and came back the next day and applied a second coat. Go really thin with the application, and it's a breeze to remove. If you apply a little heavy, you might get a little dust, and you might have to apply a little effort to remove it. But otherwise, I found the product very easy to worth with. The end result on black paint is a very high degree of reflection and a very wet look. I was impressed, and can't wait to see how the Power Lock and Blue Velvet combination holds up to the elements.
Just bought the new 2013 Genesis Coupe in Becketts Black. The paint on this car is amazing, black out of the sun but pearleascent in the sun. I used Chem Bros Blacklight one coat, Blue Velvet 1 coat and topped it with Purple Haze. It looks AMAZING. The depth of shine and reflectivity are off the scale! Wish I could post pics with this review. A great combination for sure.

After corrective polishing, I Chemical Guy's EZ-Cremed and laid this baby on top.
Smells great and I had taken some of the best photos I ever had of my dark red truck! Great Product

Use this in conjunction with Purple Haze. Lay down a thin coat of Blue Velvet followed by a thin coat of Purple Haze. Absolutely stunning. Easy on, easy off, super slick, AWESOME SHINE!
Good wax, goes on easy and looks great.
Great wax for my Daytona Blue 63 Splt Window Coupe. I have won many awards and this wax ads deep shine and adds great protection for bugs and contaminants.
The Dodo Wax was easy to apply and easy to take off. I have an 03 RSX and it gave a nice shine to the area I applied it to. Now I will have to see how it stands against the tough Ohio winters. The Blue Velvet is on the right side and the Purple Haze is on the left.
I bought samples of this wax, purple haze and supernatural. A buddy has a black 2006 330i that needed some help so it did some very basic prep and then tried Blue Velvet on. With very little prep I was shocked at how great the car used. Knowing the fact that when we do proper surface prep the result will be better is hard to imagine. This is the easiest wax I have ever worked with. I was shocked as to how little wax was needed and how easy it was to remove and buff to a deep and fantastic shine. I will be interested to see how long the wax lasts. I even convinced my buddy to stop taking his car to the car wash because he sees how much better of a result can be had with very little work.
Very slick but i can't find the wetness of the wax. I guess it's because my paint is black METALLIC and pearl. it's a better wax if your car is ''jet''

i use a lot of zaino waxes and sealants, but after using this i believe i will be adding this to my product line, along with zaino. I am anxious to try some other types of waxes from Dodo. Leaves a deep wet look to the paint i was very impressed.

This wax was applied very thin and left a deep wet shine. Also it smells great and 2 weeks later you can still smell it on the paint. Went on easy ...came off easy what more could you ask for. Great Buy !!

First let me say that I posted the after pics in the Car Detail section of E46fanatics.com ... you should start there ... posted under Ultim8-One.
The only issue I had was not understanding how this wax needed to be put on very thin .. and then taken right back off within a few minutes. It offers a much deeper and wetter look (after the second coat) giving an over all much nicer look when compared to Poor Boys Blue Natty. This is by far the best wax I have used on any of my BMW's. This DoDo product gets an A+ from me.
