Bravo Todd. I tried this for the winter as I wasn't ready to pull the trigger on 22ple just yet( it's going on when it gets warmer). Fully prepped our grand cherokee, and started on the hood. The pad doesn't need primed, I just started with a few M&M sized drops on a pad, and it just about covered the entire hood. Once the pad started to get primed a bit, a few dabs was all that was needed to keep going. Even smooth coverage, up and down back and forth motions allowed it to go on nice and smooth and thin as per Todd's instructions. I was able to do the hood and the whole side of the jeep in about 15 minutes or so, and by that time I went back and could start removal. Easy to remove as BFWD which I loved using, and this was almost just as slick, very smooth glassy finish but with greater depth I thought. I waited 24hrs and put on a second coat(this was early November), and had great beading until mid January and then it beaded up nice on the hood, roof, and from about the door handles up, below that the water sheeted away nice. Freshened it up with one coat, and at the end of February the wife said" this wax is still beading well, I'm impressed". I also did a new silver x3 in November with one coat, and it made that silver pop/shine enough my wife said she never saw silver look so good. It still was beading/sheeting well in January with only one coat on the x3. Most impressive, I just washed our jeep the other day, and after Ohio winter/salt season, the car didn't feel like it needed clayed hardly at all, not much stuck to the paint. There's some contamination on the paint, but not much, my neighbor even commented how much smoother it was than his paint. This is all I use from here on out except on my company truck(SN hybrid), and once I put on the 22ple, I'll use this to freshen it up. I have a few friends I detail for, and this is going on their cars too..."make my car look like yours". I'd say Todd hit a home run with it, a little pricey yes, but when I consider how it's held up for me, and a little goes a long long way, it's worth it, and it's easy as pie to use. You won't be disappointed.
