The SM Arnold Speedy Surface Prep Towel is a high quality microfiber towel combined with a technologically advanced polymerized rubber pad. This towel allows for the safe and easy removal of contaminants, paint over spray, and brake dust from the surface of your paint, glass, vinyl, and plastics. Just simply spray the NanoSkin Glide onto the contaminated area and glide the Speedy Surface Prep Towel across the area. With light pressure slide the towel back and forth so it can separate and remove contaminants from the exterior of your vehicle! We recommend misting the detailer over a 2' x 2' area and wipe away any excess lube afterward with a clean microfiber towel. It is just that easy and the results are impressive! Your car will feel smooth and free of contaminants so you can get better results afterward with any polish, glaze, sealant or wax! It is totally safe on the exterior paint and you'll work much faster than you would with a traditional clay bar. This towel is so easy to maintain that even if you drop it on the floor you can simply just rinse it off and keep working! If you drop a traditional clay bar you basically have to throw it away, wasting money and time. Instructions For Use:
Read The Following Before First Use:
After each use, simply rinse SPEEDY Surface Prep towel in warm water... no soap required.
Read The Following Before First Use:
- Use ONLY on clean, cool paint and out of direct sunlight.
- Best Operation Temperature Range is 50° F to 99° F.
- Do not use on surfaces or store in temperatures over 144° F otherwise the polymerized rubber will start to melt.
- Avoid using soap and water as a lubricant.
- Use only a showroom prep or clay lubricant to attain the best results. Results will differ using different showroom prep or clay lubricant products.
- SPEEDY Surface Prep towel is not solvent resistant.
- Thoroughly wash vehicle prior to application.
- With your favorite showroom prep or clay lubricant, spray a generous amount onto the working surface and on the polymerized rubber surface of the SPEEDY Surface Prep.
- Using light pressure, gently slide SPEEDY Surface Prep towel from side to side. When SPEEDY Surface Prep towel glides freely, the surface contaminants have been removed.
- Wipe off the residual lubricant with a separate microfiber towel. Rub your hand across the surface; it should be as smooth as glass. If not, you can repeat the process.
- Continue these steps until you have completed the entire vehicle.
After each use, simply rinse SPEEDY Surface Prep towel in warm water... no soap required.

Have used the Fine Grade Towel in the shop since they first came out years ago. This does work great, but the Fine grit towel will require more downward pressure in some cases of heavy contamination. Love that it can just be rinsed off with any liquid and its ready to go again. I fold it into 4ths, so I have 4 sides to use. I have had best results with Dodo Juice Born Slippy Clay Lubricant - wow this stuff is amazing and leaves no residue on the panel, wipes of really easy with clean towels. Its easy to mix Born Slippy to make that little bottle go a long way. Sometimes, for some places a Claybar will still be used, and if I have to use one its either the old Blackfire Polymer gray bar or the been around for decades, Blue ClayMagic Bar.
I've never been this impressed with a detailing product. I achieved better results than I ever have with clay with a fraction of the time and effort.
I will never go back to clay bars after this. It is way faster and does a better job. You need the clay lube though. Great product.
