I have used 22ple on six of my cars over the last couple of years, and am very happy with it. I recently purchased the Pro series because it is supposed to go three years. It went on like the regular. I am confident it will go longer or would not have spent the extra cost.

I've been using 22PLE for a few years now. VX Pro, VX3 and VX Pro2. I'm truly astounded at the VX Pro2. It's only been about 6 months since application, but the hydrophobic properties - even when the car is dirty - is STILL second to none. Water beads and runs off of the paint like nothing I've seen before. The areas behind the wheels beads even with winter salt and road grime on the paint. That's impressive to me. The car stays cleaner longer between washes too than with the other versions. If this really lasts 3 years, I'll be totally blown away. The reflection and shine is also incredible as well.

Better than the VX3 Signature series. The VX Pro2 produces a more durable, effective protection layer and I found it just as easy to work with. Areas that have not been buffed out can be corrected within a few hours by applying VS1 Final Coat and buffing gently.
In any case, I recommend topping off the coating with the VS1 Final Coat for extra shine and beading.
Any coating itself will add moderate shine only, so after the coating you will need to apply either the VS1 or a wax to pop up the paint. Go with the wax if you want a slightly warmer hue of glow, while the VS1 has better beading and lasts longer.

Great product, easy to apply, I don't know if there any difference between this and there other 22ple VX Pro coating.

Such an awesome product. Easy to use, just be careful you wipe everything during removal.

I applied the pro 2 to my 2013 metallic black BMW X3. I was extremely happy with the end results. I applied it in my garage when the temperature outside was 80 degrees with fairly high humidity. I applied it to small 3 square foot sections at a time as the product was dry within 2 minutes. I noticed that in order to avoid dark spots from forming I had to buff off the haze with a fair amount of pressure. However, after a bit of practice I was able to apply and remove the pro 2 esily. One last suggestion I have is to use a simple 2 inch by 2 inch square gauze pad from cvs. This I found worked extremely well, better than the 22ple applicator pad. Matter of fact, the gauze pad allowed me to use far less product than would be required with the 22ple applicator. I would estimate that I could apply 3 to 4 complete coatings by using the gauze vs 22ple applicator with a 30 ml bottle. Overall I am extremely impressed with all the 22ple products and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to protect and maintain their paint, metal, rubber and plastic on their high end vehicles.

I too noticed it didn't harden on the applicator as the other versions of 22PLE(and other brands) have all done. I used a 22PLE applicator, and it seemed to not put it down evenly even after I "primed" the pad. I either had it real heavy in a spot or it "ran out" quickly and was dry. I tried varying the amount of drops on the pad, that didn't help. It was very easy to remove as the other versions of 22PLE, and seemed to get a nice look to the hood of my truck, and it's white. I let it cure for about 12 hours before I took it out of my shop at work on a sunny day. The truck got a lot of pollen on it over the that day/night, and since coatings tend to spot, the next morning(coating was on about 36hrs at this point) I washed the truck with Honey Dew. It beaded nice, but I didn't think any better than 22 Pro or Signature, and definitely not better than some of the other coatings I've been using. Since my truck sits out 24/7, I topped it up with Kamikaze Overcoat to prevent spots and increased beading. I only did the hood as a test panel, and I'm just gonna use up what's left on a friends car and probably stick with Kamikaze and Gyeon coatings for my high end detail jobs I do on the side and my personal cars.
In case this comes up, I did prep it right. Hood was washed, clayed, polished with Sonax Perfect finish w/ rupes and an orange pad, then a second time with blue finish pad. Gtechniq Panel wipe, then 50/50 IPA for good measure. Our shop was about 63 degrees when I applied it and over night as it cured. After I applied the coating to about 1/4 of the hood, I waited about 5 minutes before removing that section and moving to the next. 2 towels brand new, first one no pressure, kind of even out the coating and the second full removal of everything the first one missed, still light pressure.

Not a bad product, I just won't buy it again, didn't see any initial benefit over Pro or Signature(which I have several bottles of on the shelf still) to make it worth it for me. The "plug" that comes in it, wouldn't come out and ripped so I had to get a tiny screwdriver and pry it out which was a pain, because of course I spilled some trying to get it out. I will say, it did offer great scratch resistance, I used a bic lighter and hit the hood to mark the paint, and the mark wiped right off, no damage to the paint.

The applicator pad did not dry and harden as stated. Which makes me wonder if it is giving me any protection on my car.

I found this product easy to use. It was hard to see it flash on my gray colored car. It would also help if the correct instructions were printed on the box. It listed the wrong amount of cure time and now I doubt I will have the long term protection.
